HALF-PAST NEIN is electric musician Billy Jackson and a roster of great Nashville players.

Perennially on the event horizon of the alternative in rock, in the 1980s Jackson formed and disbanded hard-edged acts with abandon. He played with long-time ally Jeff Johnson,  the hard-edged bassist of Jason and the Scorchers and more recently founder of Party of Shine and De Piratas.

In the 1990s Jackson ventured into intertwining electric guitars, synths and screaming e-bow, and lacing it with breathy vocals. He played in Tokyo live houses including the legendary venue MILK in Ebisu.

He plays a mean electric guitar riff and is renowned for his keen eye for rare and vintage guitars.
